TV on the Radio
Tickets on sale 11am Wednesday 27 August.
Acclaimed Brooklyn band TV on the Radio announce their highly anticipated return to Australia, the indie rock outfit set to perform three East Coast headline shows this December 2025: in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne – their first appearances on our shores since 2015.
Currently on tour across the United States, after finishing a run through Europe & the UK, TVOTR will wrap up their US run in mid-October before heading to Mexico City for Corona Capital, then onto Australia, where they were recently announced for Meredith Music Festival.
With a catalogue that spans two decades and five acclaimed albums – including Desperate Youth, Bloodthirsty Babes (2004), Return to Cookie Mountain (2006), Dear Science (2008), Nine Types of Light (2011) and Seeds (2014) – TVOTR carved a singular path through indie music. Formed in 2001 as a serendipitous project between vocalist/programmer Tunde Adebimpe and multi-instrumentalist Dave Sitek, who both lived in the same building in Williamsburg, the band’s 23-year run marks them as one of the most influential and uncompromising groups of the 21st century. TVOTR’s live reemergence sees members Adebimpe, Kyp Malone, and Jaleel Bunton performing select dates across the globe in 2025, including a revered set at this year’s Glastonbury.
Celebrated for their boundary-pushing sound and emotional depth, from glitchy DIY beginnings to full-blown grandeur TVOTR has consistently challenged genre conventions while creating music that feels as intimate as it is explosive. A decade since they were last in Australia, these upcoming dates offers fans a rare chance to witness one of America’s most inventive bands in full flight once more.
You must be 18 years or over to attend this event.
Valid Proof of Age photo ID is required by all patrons (Australian Driver’s License, Victorian Learners Permit, Passport, Proof of Age Card, Keypass). Photocopies and photos of ID will not be accepted.
