After conquering Australia on their 2024 debut run, Michigan’s post-emo heroes Hot Mulligan will return in 2026 for the Sound A Body Makes When It’s Still Australian Tour & if their last Australian visit is anything to go by - where demand was so overwhelming that venues needed to be upgraded - these shows will sell out fast.

Hot Mulligan is a resounding success story, the #1 Hot New Band (11 years running, just ask them), and they are only getting bigger. The Australian tour arrives after a landmark year for the Michigan five-piece, which started with the release of their acclaimed fourth LP The Sound A Body Makes When It’s Still (Wax Bodega/Civilians) - their most raw, relentless and fully realised body of work to date. Packed with fight-or-flight hooks, shimmering guitar lines, subtle synth flourishes and gripping high notes, the album commands attention and landed Hot Mulligan on the covers of Kerrang!, Rock Sound and Melodic Mag, reinforcing their status as one of the most respected bands in the scene.

The band are about to launch into a largely sold out North American headline tour, followed by a quick whip around Europe and the UK, and will make their Coachella debut before arriving in Australia. Not a bad ride for a band who cut their teeth playing house shows and naming songs by closing their eyes and typing into auto-correct on their phones. Hot Mulligan will be supported by fellow Michigan emos saturdays at your place - who will tour Australia for the very first time - as well as Forests from Singapore.

Valid Proof of Age photo ID is required by all patrons (Australian Driver’s License, Victorian Learners Permit, Passport, Proof of Age Card, Keypass). Photocopies and photos of ID will not be accepted.

Booth Ticket Holders: Please go to the Box Office on arrival at the venue to collect your wristband and our staff will then direct you to your booth. Note that a General Admission ticket plus a Booth Upgrade ticket must be purchased and presented together for booth access.

Bag checks: Due to security requirements, you will be required to show the contents of your bag to venue staff. Prohibited items will not be allowed into the venue and may be confiscated or entry may be refused.

Cameras: Phone cameras and small point and shoot cameras are permitted. No larger cameras or cameras with detachable lenses are permitted. No flash photography.
