Grammy-nominated, New Zealand-born, and Australia-raised musician Jordan Rakei is set to return to his roots with his much-anticipated The Loop Tour across Australia and New Zealand.

A master of soul, R&B, and jazz, Rakei will showcase tracks from his latest, critically acclaimed album The Loop, marking a bold new chapter in his career. This tour promises to captivate audiences with Rakei’s signature fusion of hypnotic groove, soulful vocals, and immersive orchestral arrangements.

Starting in Christchurch, Rakei’s The Loop Tour will then take him to major Australian cities, including Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, where fans will experience the full depth and breadth of his musical evolution. The Loop is not just an album; it’s a journey that taps into influences like Stevie Wonder, Curtis Mayfield, and D’Angelo while embracing the bold production style that has become Rakei’s hallmark.

Having made waves in the global music scene with tracks like “Masterpiece” with Disclosure, “Ottolenghi” with Loyle Carner, and his own genre-blending solo work, Rakei has solidified his place as a key player in the contemporary soul-electronic movement. The Loop sees the artist stepping away from his earlier DIY sound to create a grander, more polished musical landscape that’s both ambitious and deeply personal.

“This album was a return to the music I first fell in love with,” says Rakei. “I let go of the over-analytical producer mindset and simply allowed myself to create with freedom. The result is an album that’s filled with emotion, ambition, and a lot of heart.”

Fans can expect standout performances of singles like “Flowers” and “Trust,” where Rakei’s lush arrangements will bring his latest work to life on stage. The tour marks a homecoming for Rakei, as he revisits the region that shaped his early career before relocating to London.

In what promises to be a powerful and intimate live experience, The Loop Tour will feature tracks from across Rakei’s discography, along with his latest creations. With his career now spanning five albums, collaborations with some of the biggest names in music, and an ever-evolving sound, Jordan Rakei continues to push the boundaries of what soulful, experimental music can achieve.

Don’t miss your chance to witness Jordan Rakei’s transformative live performances, as he redefines the boundaries of modern soul and R&B on stage.
