The Original Voice of Skid Row Returns to Australia for a High-Octane Celebration of One of Rock’s Greatest Debuts
Mon 24 Nov: Sebastian Bach - Slave to the Grind
Thu 27 Nov: Sebastian Bach - Skid Row
Rock legend Sebastian Bach, the unmistakable original voice of Skid Row, is set to reignite Australian stages in 2025. This time, he's bringing a full-throttle performance of the album that launched a rock revolution - Skid Row’s self-titled debut, performed in its entirety for the first time on Australian soil, plus a second show added due to overwhelming demand which will see Bach perform Skid Row's Slave to the Grind in full.
This tour is a massive celebration of a record that changed the face of hard rock and heavy metal - delivered by the voice that made it unforgettable. Fans can expect an explosive set featuring hits like Youth Gone Wild, 18 and Life, Big Guns and I Remember You.
“Skid Row is a rock and roll classic, from start to end,” praised Sleaze Roxx, and now Aussie fans will get to experience it live, straight from the source.
Bach’s recent performances of the album have earned rave reviews across the globe. Cobras and Fire declared: “His voice sounds excellent and the show is an energy-filled 90 minutes of pure RNF’nR.” The Music echoed that sentiment: “Not missing a note or beat, with his distinct voice blasting through the PA and sounding as good as it did on the original recording... He proved why he is still one of the real monsters of rock and heavy metal today.”
With his signature raw energy and uncompromising authenticity, Bach’s live performances are a reaffirmation of his unmatched legacy. As Classic Rock Reviewed wrote: “This wasn’t someone who’d scrubbed his voice clean for mass appeal; this guy was from somewhere. And this was a guy who went for it, full tilt, with everything he sang.” There’s only one voice that defines Skid Row, Sebastian Bach!
In addition to the full-album performance, each night will feature an encore set of hits from Bach’s storied career, including fan favourite selections from Skid Row’s Slave to the Grind and Sebastian’s acclaimed solo records.
In response to overwhelming demand, Bach has confirmed a second Melbourne date at The Forum on Monday, 24 November. As an exclusive one-night-only event, this show will feature a full live performance of Skid Row’s 1991 album Slave to the Grind — marking a rare opportunity for fans to witness the genre-defining record performed from start to finish by the original voice behind the music.
Celebrating over three decades since its release, Slave to the Grind has gone multi-platinum, cementing its place in rock history.
Known for its blistering energy and uncompromising attitude, the album delivered hard-hitting tracks like ‘Monkey Business,’ ‘Mudkicker,’ and the anthemic title track, alongside three of rock’s most revered ballads: ‘In a Darkened Room,’ ‘Quicksand Jesus,’ and ‘Wasted Time.’
