Pack your bags Australia, Camp Screamo is headed our way in 2027! Hot off selling out their Camp Screamo co-headline run across North America, Missouri stalwarts STORY OF THE YEAR and Canadian legends SILVERSTEIN will bring this huge tour down under next February, joined by special guests POINT NORTH (USA).
"The Camp Screamo Tour with our old friends, Silverstein, has been so sick that we HAD TO take it to one of our favorite places on Earth for the third leg. See you in February, Australia!" - Story Of The Year
"Australia has been a favourite touring destination of ours for over 20 years! We are very excited to bring Camp Screamo down under, including our full Production and a killer line-up of bands (our best pals Story of the Year and Point North). We are going to give Australians the show they deserve, and can’t wait for this tour to kick off. See you there!" - Silverstein
Few records helped build the post hardcore scene more than STORY OF THE YEAR's 2003 debut album Page Avenue. An evergreen favourite, a masterpiece of the genre, and also one of the first of its kind to sell one million copies, Page Avenue ultimately set the scene for STORY OF THE YEAR's 30+ year career, with the band since going on to release seven studio albums to date against ongoing commercial success and global adoration.
Most recently releasing their latest studio album A.R.S.O.N. earlier this year, STORY OF THE YEAR once again showcased their signature brand of intense, passionate and confessional compositions that simultaneously inspire and empower, with KERRANG! noting of the record, "seven albums in, Story Of The Year are still breaking new ground with the energy of a band that is just getting started. Now that’s a story worth telling". And the band's back catalogue is equally stacked, with anthems like Until the Day I Die, Anthem of Our Dying Day and And the Hero Will Drown joining forces with other earlier favourites to define the early 2000s post hardcore explosion, championing triumph over adversity in the process.
From teenagers working in a St. Louis pizza shop into international headliners, STORY OF THE YEAR have previously performed alongside the likes of Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Deftones and The Used. Most recently, the group whipped across Australia in 2024 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut full-length Page Avenue, with The Rockpit enthusing of their Melbourne performance: "Story of the Year were as energetic and tight as ever, blowing everyone away with their skill and dedication to not only their craft, but their fans too."
For over 25 years, Ontario, Canada-bred rockers SILVERSTEIN have remained at the top of the emo and post hardcore scenes. Innovative and inspiring at every turn, the group's landmark moment arrived in 2005 with the release of their sophomore album Discovering the Waterfront, garnering a Juno Award for New Group of the Year, peaking at #34 on the Billboard 200 charts and introducing the world to iconic singles like Smile in Your Sleep.
A band at the forefront of the mid-2000s emo and screamo explosion, SILVERSTEIN have since sold over one million records worldwide, generated over 500 million streams, and continue to cement their reputation as ambitious yet intelligent creatives, releasing concept albums like 2009's A Shipwreck in the Sand and 2013's This Is How the Wind Shifts, and, more recently, their Juno Award-nominated 2020 album A Beautiful Place to Drown and their 2025 dual album, Antibloom and Pink Moon. Helmed by frontman Shane Told, who was voted among the Five Best Post-Hardcore Vocalists by Alternative Press readers, songs like My Heroine, Smile In Your Sleep, The Afterglow and Infinite are ingrained in the scene's DNA.
Performing across the globe to packed crowds singing and screaming along with every word, SILVERSTEIN have shared stages over the years with everyone from Simple Plan through to Rise Against, Good Charlotte and Pierce The Veil. Performing down under in 2025 for their 25th anniversary, SILVERSTEIN's unforgettable set in Brisbane had Scenestr praising: "still loud, still raw, still punching holes in the dark, Silverstein at 25 are not limping toward legacy but tearing through it sideways, bloodied and burning. This ain't a victory lap. It's a demolition."
Forming in 2017, Los Angeles, California rockers POINT NORTH unleashed their debut full-length Brand New Vision in 2020, praised for its genre-fluid style and tantalising hues of alt rock, pop punk, hip hop, R&B and electronic pop. From there, POINT NORTH released their sophomore album Prepare For Despair in 2023, and have also previously collaborated with nothing, nowhere., Kellin Quinn from Sleeping With Sirens, FEVER 333 and many more. With an electrifying live set to accompany their immersive creations, POINT NORTH have toured alongside From Ashes To New, Falling In Reverse, Set It Off and DON BROCO, and ticked off their debut Australian performances in 2025 supporting Ocean Sleeper.
Uniting two enduring legends of the scene for career-spanning sets and unforgettable moments from start to finish, don't miss STORY OF THE YEAR and SILVERSTEIN joining forces down under in 2027: Camp Screamo is not to be missed!
