The Music of Ennio Morricone & the Spaghetti West

THE MOST DANGEROUS SHOW IN TOWN

The Counterfeit are set to bring the golden age of Spaghetti Western cinema to life with a powerhouse performance of iconic soundtracks from the legendary films of the 1960s live upstairs in Forum II. Rolling the wagon up Flinders Street to make their Melbourne CBD debut, The Counterfeit’s full 12-piece posse (featuring the spellbinding voice of Freya Josephine Hollick) will saddle up for one-night only to showcase 2 sets of epic soundtrack music from films such as ‘The Good, The Bad & The Ugly’, ‘A Fistful of Dollars’, ‘Once Upon a Time in the West’ and ‘The Mercenary'. Audiences will be transported straight to the dusty landscapes and dramatic showdowns of the Wild West—where heroes rise, villains fall, and Ennio Morricone’s timeless soundscapes reign supreme.

As the band performs live, original scenes from classic Spaghetti Western films will be projected in stunning scale onto Forum II’s giant silver screen, transforming the venue into a cinematic dreamscape. Each moment of music will be timed to sweeping vistas, tense standoffs, and classic cinematic moments — immersing the audience in a world where film and sound collide in real time.

Don't get left in the dust folks....wrangle your posse, throw on the wide brim and pull the trigger on a ticket to experience these remarkable scores come alive through world-class musicianship
